This cutter has fully cut-through inner details (not embossing), so it needs firm, even pressure for clean results. For best outcome, use a pressing tool to press straight down. This helps ensure even cuts, prevents distortion, and makes removing the clay cleaner and easier.

I personally use an acrylic plate—it gives neat cuts, prevents distortion, and is much gentler on your hands, especially when making a whole batch!
